This is crazy how timely this episode is. I didn’t think nor plan to wait until Elon and Trump reignite their feud. This episode above is old but currently Elon is talking about starting a new political party. While it could be nice in theory I have a couple of questions about said party. What is the foundation of this party A.K.A. all it’s political stances. For example we know Elon’s position on spending but what are his positions on gun rights? Abortion? I can assume he’s big on anti-war and free speech because Elon is left leaning.
Also if his party is successful it’ll split the republican party. That might not be a good thing. Although Trump and Elon disagree on spending their physical policy is more near similar than the Democrats. Splitting the republican party could potentially mean both his new party and M.A.G.A. fail to pass or implement their financial agenda for the country. If Elons’ goal is to reduce spending then this new party might be as good of an idea as shooting himself in the foot.
