“Bars selling alcohol after 11 p.m. again is good for the economy, tourists say”

[MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.] “The “last call” order went into effect in July which prohibited restaurants and bars from selling alcohol after 11 at night. Its purpose was to slow the spread of the coronavirus and it prevented one Myrtle Beach bar named “Last Call” from living up to its name…

Bar owners said they’ve had to lay off staff and cut their hours. That’s because they said those hours between 11 at night and two in the morning are key money-making hours…”

Everything has a cause and effect. If bars get shut down during prime time they lose money. It’s not rocket science. If they are open during those critical times they will make money. There’s really nor much more to say than that.
