There is a lot of context needed for this article to make any type of sense. Foreign companies are exiting China and it’s markets at a extremely high and fast pace. The Chinese population is also aging and its wages are now higher can many South East Asian countries.
India has good Age demographics and its cheaper to produce goods there. Long story short India is the future now. Not China. India is going to surpass China.
