“The UK was the only country in the G7 where prices were still rising in May, according to the OECD.
Rising core inflation and high food prices have also made the UK an outlier in the [Organization] for Economic Co-operation and Development group of wealthy nations, where it is one of only three countries where the inflation rate was not dropping… Prices growth slowed in all 38 OECD nations apart from the UK, Norway and the Netherlands…”
