“Let them eat Corn Flakes” appears to be Kellogg’s CEO Gary Pilnick’s advice to cash-strapped shoppers who are spending the highest portion of their income on food than at any point in the last 30 years.
In an interview with CNBC last week, WK Kellogg CEO Pilnick said the company was advertising cereal for dinner to consumers looking for more affordable options. “Give chicken the night off,” the ad’s cheery tagline reads. I have a better idea Kellogg’s. How about instead of giving chicken the night off I give Kellogg’s products the rest of my life off. I’ll save money by boycotting companies like this. Make no mistake this is an “intelligent” way to insult people who are struggling financially. This is classism at it’s finest. Their products [Kellogg’s] are full of GMO’s anyway. Don’t eat it. its literally poison. For those of you who don’t know what GMO’s are it’s best you find out.
