The article is behind a pay wall but let me speak on this subject. Diversity’s strength lies in diversity of thought not skin color. Affirmative action is racism. Skin color does not qualify a person for a job. Their talent and or skill does. Everyone needs to ask themselves if they would like it if a unqualified doctor had to do surgery on them? Would they like it if an unqualified mechanic worked on 747 airplanes? Would they like it if unqualified quality assurance testers tested food and water supplies?
Society can not function this way. It will collapse eventually. Listen, if anyone thinks they’re underpaid or are refused from hiring processes for unjust reasons they should create their own job. One of the great things about America is you can control your own success. Can’t get a job? Make one. Problem solved. While it might not be easy it’s a option and possible returns are much higher than becoming an employee.
