Stocks: I’m Down This Week

Well I lost some on stocks this week. The good news is it wasn’t because of my analysis. It was mostly because I wasn’t fully clear how Robinhood after hours pending trades work.

For all who doesn’t know if you buy a stock after hours and it’s “pending” the stock can still rise or fall during that time before you actually buy it. I didn’t know this.

Also this is very important what I’m about to say. If you have a stock pending on Wednesday and it purchases on Thursday if you sell on Thursday it counts as a day trade. I did not know this. I lost a day trade for no reason.

If not for these two errors I’d be up for the week. Oh well I can’t win all the time I guess. There’s still one more day in this business week so maybe I can make some (good) moves tomorrow.
