The strikes led to fuel shortages and lines at stations around France as some pumps ran dry. Nearly a third of the country’s gas stations were out of some type of fuel by Sunday.France threw money at its energy crisis, but people are still angry

Wrong. Strikes didn’t cause shortages. The supply chain breakdown which was caused by covid lockdown restrictions caused it. Also money is not going to solve a energy problem. Energy is going to solve an energy problem. Money can’t warm your house but natural gas can. There’s an attack on energy and a push for green energy which doesn’t work. Markets will innovate on their own. Forcing a transition will only result in much pain and suffering then ultimately fail.
