“The cost to fly private is up as much as 20% with fuel prices soaring”

“Well-heeled travelers are paying more to fly private — even on previously booked flights — as fuel prices push $4.65 a gallon on average.

While private jet passengers typically have deep pockets, some are opting for smaller aircraft, and brokers are hedging fuel costs in order to save money.
